Sixth Grade

Sixth grade is working on Advent projects.
They are working on a Jesse Tree.
Their Advent Booklets are due12-18.

Spelling:
We are on Unit 14.
Each week the students are to write their words
3x each.
They are to complete 2 pp. a day until the Unit is complete.
Spelling test will be Friday.

Social Studies. The students should be reviewing their notes
and work sheets handed out for the chapter.
There will be a test Tuesday Dec. 9th.
We will also be completing some activities to go with the chapter.

7th grade

Reading project for "Brian's Winter" is due 12-8.
The students need to have 8 journal entries written from Brian's
point of view. The entries need to be at least 10 sentences.
The top part of the paper needs to have stick figure or simple
illustrations drawn in pencil.
The entry needs to have a title.
They will need a cover.
The project is worth 100 points.
They have seen examples from students in the past.
They should also have the directions in their notebooks.

We are starting a new story out of their textbok.
They need to study their voc. words nightly.
The students get a reading packet with each story.
They are due the day we take the voc. quiz.
